Ebb N Flow Tops Lexington Sale Fourth Session

Ontario-sired Ebb N Flow brought the highest winning bid on the fourth day of the 2025 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale at the Fasig-Tipton Sales Pavilion in Lexington, Ky. on Thursday, Oct. 2.
Ebb N Flow, Hip 727, went for $201,389 ($145,000 USD) to Sabine Kagebrant, acting as an agent for Courant Inc. of Delray Beach, Fla. The Green Manalishi S filly, consigned by Kentuckiana Farms, is out of Hustle Heart, a daughter of Hambletonian Oaks champion Creamy Mimi and half-sister to millionaire French Wine. Ebb N Flow is a half-sister to stakes winner Fly Light ($528,591 – 1:52).
Ivy Station, Hip 730, received a top bid of $152,778 ($110,000 USD) from Rick Berks of Boca Raton, Fla. The Papi Rob Hanover filly, consigned by Spring Station Bloodstock, is out of Indra Hanover, a Betting Line half-sister to stakes winners Closing Statement, Inverse Hanover, and Nikola J.
Sun Hawk, a son of Bulldog Hanover and the stakes-winning mare Kiss Me Onthebeach, sold for $138,889 ($100,000 USD) as Hip 740. Brandon Arsenault, acting as an agent for Gregg McNair of Guelph, Ont., made the winning bid on the Hunterton Sales Agency consignment.
Fashion N Frills, Hip 790, was bought for $111,111 ($80,000 USD) by Ake Svanstedt Inc. of Wrightstown, N.J. The Tactical Landing-Precious Fashion filly was consigned by Winbak Farm. Precious Fashion, out of Breeders Crown champion Honorable Daughter, is a Yankee Glide half-sibling to stakes winner Honor And Serve.
You Bettor Believe, Hip 622, brought the day’s fifth-highest price of $106,944 ($77,000 USD) on a bid by Chris Ryder of Allentown, N.J. The Bettors Wish colt is out of The Magic Of You, a Somebeachsomewhere half-sister to World Champion Always B Miki and Blue Chip Matchmaker Final winner Yagonnakissmeornot. He was consigned by Hickory Lane Horse Farm.
On day four, 195 yearlings went through the ring and generated gross sales of $6,066,667 ($4,368,000 USD). The average of $31,111 ($22,400 USD) was a decrease from the 2024 fourth-session figure of $28,216 USD per yearling. Though four days and 766 yearlings, $79,009,722 ($56,887,000 USD) has changed hands for an average price of $103,146 ($74,265 USD), which was lower than last year’s total after four sessions of $61,041,000 USD.
The opening session of the Lexington sale was held on Monday and the Walner-French Cafe filly Dejeuner garnered the most attention with a $1.38 million ($1 million USD) price tag to top day one. Selling as Hip 70, Dejeuner was purchased by Noel Daley, who served as agent for Winning Key of Chesterfield, New Jersey. Kentuckiana Farms consigned the half sister to 2024 Elegantimage Stakes winner French Champagne (1:51.4 - $739,033).
Attracting the highest bid of the second session on Tuesday, Jimdougie Armitage, a son of Captain Corey, went for $1.04 million ($750,000 USD) to Ake Svanstedt Inc. of Wrightstown, New Jersey. He is the first foal of Quick Bet, a full sister to Breeders Crown champion and Dan Patch Award recipient Winners Bet. The mare was a four-time winner on the track and took a mark of 1:56.1. The colt, Hip 182, was consigned by Armitage Farm LLC.
Shoreline Station topped the third session on Wednesday, purchased for $381,944 ($275,000 USD) on a winning bid from Linda Toscano of Freehold, New Jersey, acting as agent. The Sweet Lou colt, Hip 394 consigned by Spring Station Bloodstock, is the first foal out of Seaside Park, a daughter of stakes winner Cinamony and a Downbytheseaside half-sister to Cane Pace champion Captain Optimistic and stakes winner Odds On Cinnamon.
The sale will continue on Friday night with the final session starting a 7 p.m.
