Grand River Qualifiers Scheduled For May 29

Grand River Raceway has scheduled its first qualifying session of the season for Wednesday, May 29.

The Wednesday, May 29 qualifiers will take place at 3 p.m. The entry box for the qualifiers will close on Monday, May 27 at 9:30 a.m.

A reminder that Grand River Raceway is currently open for training each Tuesday and Thursday morning from 8 a.m. to noon.

The 2024 live harness racing season at the newly expanded Grand River Raceway will begin on Wednesday, June 5. The Elora, Ont. raceway’s reconfiguration project began in August 2023 and the former half-mile racing surface was transformed into a five-eighths-of-a-mile track. 

The first condition sheet for the new season at the Grand River Raceway is now available. The entry box for the opening card closes on Friday, May 31 at 9:30 a.m.

The Woodbine Mohawk Park Race Office will again conduct all the draws for the 2024 season at Grand River Raceway.

The track will host a total of 48 race dates with live racing on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. Post time will be 6:30 p.m.
