Georgian Kicks Off Saturday With Fan Club Handicapping Contest
Georgian Downs opens its 11th season of live harness racing on Saturday and the I Love Canadian Harness Racing Fan Club is kicking off the meet with a handicapping contest
.
The Innisfil track will host 99 nights of Standardbred horse racing between March 31 and December 31. Georgian Downs offers racing every Tuesday and Saturday night plus Wednesdays starting on October 17, Mondays from November 19 to New Years Eve and Sundays October 21 to November 11. All races will be broadcast to a network of racetracks and off-track locations throughout Canada and select regions of the U.S. Post time for the first race of the 12 race program on March 31 is 7:25 p.m.
This month’s challenge follows a unique format that we hope you enjoy. You must put, in order, each race of the opening day Georgian Downs card of racing (races 1 through 12) from the fastest race to the slowest race.
The contest is now open for entries and will close at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 31. The winner will be the contestant who selects the most races in sequential order from fastest to slowest (see Terms and Conditions for more details).
The contest winner will receive an I Love Canadian Harness Racing Prize Pack, which includes a $50 gift certificate to the Canadian racetrack of their choosing and a great Fan Club tote filled with Fan Club merchandise.
