Super-producing broodmare Graceful Touch fetched one of the highest bids in the history of harness racing during Friday's session of the Black Book

Mixed Sale.

Selling as part of the Perretti Farms dispersal, the Pine Chip-Act Of Grace mare sold in foal to Lucky Chucky for $560,000. The dam of world champion Muscle Mass, Hambletonian winner Muscle Massive and 2010 Merrie Annabelle winner Thatsnotmyname was purchased by noted French owner Jean-Pierre Barjon. Barjon owns Prix d'Amerique winner Meaulnes du Corta. The price was the sixth highest ever for a standardbred broodmare in North America.

Bringing in a hefty bid of $350,000 was broodmare The Queen. Consigned by agent Preferred Equine Inc., Kentucky's Diamond Creek Farm purchased the sophomore Andover Hall filly, who is out of the $531,258 earning Donerail mare Bold Dreamer. The Queen is a full-sister to $1.7 million earner Pampered Princess and half-sister to Was It A Dream, a career winner of more than $800,000.

A total of 527 horses were sold during the first mixed session for $9,911,500, with the average price at $18,807.

The Harrisburg sale will wrap up with the final mixed sale session on Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m.
