.

According to a report by the Gwinnett Daily Post, Dean and Patti Reeves, owners of the top thoroughbred Mucho Macho Man, have shelled out some dough to have their Kentucky Derby-bound runner on four billboards in downtown Atlanta.

The duo have dubbed the sophomore Georgia's 'Hometown Horse' and are using him to make the public aware of the push for the legalization of pari-mutuel horse racing in the state.

The article has quoted Patti as saying, "We’re trying to raise awareness and pique interest in horse racing in general,” and “We think (horseracing in Georgia) would be good for the economy, it would create jobs. We’re just trying to raise awareness.”

The Kentucky Derby will take place Saturday, May 7 at Churchill Downs in Kentucky.
