Photos Of 'Dewey's First Foal
Having won 22 of his 25 career starts, triple-millionaire Muscles Yankee horse Deweycheatumnhowe spent a lot of time posing for photo ops throughout his distinguished career
. Now, 'Dewey's first foal seems to be taking to the camera as well.
Southwind Farms, of Pennington, New Jersey has announced that the first foal by World Champion and Hambletonian winner Deweycheatumnhowe 3,1:50.4 ($3,177,112) has been born at its farm.
The bay colt is the first foal from multiple stakes winner Southwind Martini 3,1:59.1h ($112,450), who is by Conway Hall and out of the Armbro Goal mare Miss Goal. Southwind Martini won a division of the Lady Suffolk Trot, as well as several New York Sire Stakes and is a half sister to Merrie Annabelle winner Southwind Maywood 2,1:57.1 ($297,251).
Deweycheatumnhowe, the only horse in the history of harness racing to win the Hambletonian while undefeated, has been relocated from Walnut Hall Ltd. to Westwind Farm in Strathroy, Ontario, where he will stand beginning with the 2010 breeding season.
