Woodmere Wyldstyle cleared control past a :27.3 opening quarter but battled Top Royal, who raced sat first over heading to the half. The pair dueled through middle splits of :56.3 and 1:26 before Kelly sent Significance to the center of the track to collar the dueling leaders into the final turn. The three-year-old Mach Three filly overtook the two turning for the finish and widened her lead while Woodmere Wyldstyle gave chase from second. Top Royal held third.
