Brookdale Buster (who was driven by Andrew MacLean) finished third, another five lengths in arrears.
Intended Royalty, who is owned by Randy and Edward Copley of Inverness, NS, has now won seven of his 19 starts this season and 33 of his 139 career calls to post.
