Campbell: "I'll Play It Year By Year"
As Mohawk Racetrack readies to pay homage to the Wayne Gretzky of the North American harness racing colony this Saturday night, The Toronto Star is doing its part to let the masses know more about the man who has driven to over 10,000 wins and $268 million in purse earnings
.
Within The Toronto Star article, Campbell, 54, commented on how much longer he plans to be in the sulky.
"I'll play it year by year, but I know I can still compete," he said. "My self-confidence is good and this year I've had a decent bunch of horses in the big races."
Campbell went on to say that, "the way I look at it, I'm very fortunate to be competing at this level. Health is obviously a priority. If I can stay away from injuries, I can still compete."
The resident of River Vale, New Jersey will be feted during what is yet another attractive Saturday night card at Mohawk.
