Trot Insider has learned that the Atlantic Provinces Harness Racing Commission has approved a date change for the 2018 edition of the Maritimer Stake.

The Maritimer, which had been scheduled for July 28 at Exhibition Park Raceway, has been moved with permission of the APHRC to Saturday, September 1 at EPR.

The Maritimer Stake is for three-year-old pacing fillies and will be contested in same-day heats if the number of entrants requires it.
