Village Jiffy Passes
Trot Insider has learned of the recent passing of pacing stallion Village Jiffy, who stood in British Columbia at JCS Veterinary Reproductive Services since 2004. He was 28.
The late Bill Wellwood campaigned the talented son of Cam Fella-Jig who banked over $1.5 million during a racing career that saw him capture a pair of Breeders Crown titles. Village Jiffy’s success on the racetrack earned him a number of highlights including an O’Brien Award as Canada’s Older Pacing Horse of the Year in 1994.
Prior to standing in British Columbia, Village Jiffy produced a long list of stars in Ontario including millionaires Tigerama (1:49.1 - $1,670,946), Dreamfair Vogel (1:49.3 - $1,179,514) and Village Blitz (1:50.4 - $1,004,477).
