The Wisniewski family would like to thank all of you that have taken the time to post comments/stories of their memories of Paul.
Paul loved Harness Racing and met so many wonderful people along the way. It is a most difficult time for our 3 children.
Paul had 3 standardbred horses here in Port Franks and we are looking for a good home for them. If you or someone you know can provide a pasture that they could live out their lives, the children would be forever greatful.
Thank you.

Iam an advid harness racing fan.I met Paul at Simcoe fair in 2003.I thought to myself what ambastor for harness racing.Paul gave me a baseball cap, with a picture of a harness horse on it. I will cherish that cap the rest of my life,
To me fair racing was the most exciting of all racing. At Paris I saw Jody Jamieson drive his first race at very young age.At Simcoe I saw Fred Roloson win his first two race with the trotter Maple Leaf Gentry. I remember Ask For Trouble setting track records at most of the fairs. Paul made everbody feelspecial What a man to lose Roland Teedon

Paul was one of the finest gentman to be involved with horse racing
When I was racing ,he always ask me to bring my mother!s horse ,ASK FOR TROUBLE
To the fairs. When he found out that I was in the hospital,He would phone me
every day.I cant belive he:s dead He was just perfect man for the fairs and treated everybody so special.Goodbye my old friend.

I wish to send along my condolences to Paul's family .I met him many years ago when he was part of the staff of Trot magazine and I was a contributor . I also had the pleasure of meeting him in person at the Norfolk County Fair in Simcoe as he was there doing his usual energetic job of promoting and helping with coordinating the fair races .His warm smile, friendly disposition and willingness to be helpful will always be remembered .

Paul and I worked together for over 25 years at the Southwestern Ontario Fall Fairs. He was forever helping me with the correct pronunciation of horses and owners names for which I was very thankful. Paul of course was ever the optimist and as Fall Fair racing started to fall off he continued to pursue both the fair boards as well as the harness racing industry to support fall fair racing. As the founder of the Area Fair Final he kept fall fair racing alive and in front of both the industry partners as well as harness racing fans. I know the last year has been difficult for him and his family but I am sure he is at peace and if heaven has horse racing he is already involved. Condolences to his family who should take comfort in all his accomplishments as a family man, teacher and harness horse person. Paul Moynagh

I would like to add my name to the list of individuals that met, worked with, and admired Paul Wisniewski. I will always remember how passionate he was about harness racing in general, and fair racing in particular. His bubbly, exuberant passion for the fairs struck me every single time that we met. He was instrumental in our staging of a "special" race day at the Beamsville Fairgrounds in 1987, in support of the pediatric ward of the Hamilton General Hospital. The smile on his face in the picture provided with the blue background, is the only face that I ever saw when I ran into Paul over the years. My thoughts are with his loved ones.
