Robert ‘Bobby’ MacInnis Passes

Trot Insider has learned that longtime horseman J. Robert ‘Bobby’ MacInnis, of Travellers Rest, Prince Edward Island, passed away at the Prince County Hospital in Summerside on Monday, July 24 at the age of 62.

Born in Summerside on February 17, 1955, Bobby is the son of Mary (MacLaurin) MacInnis and the late Ralph MacInnis. Husband of Brenda (Cameron) MacInnis and father to Morgan. Brother of Greg (Arlene), MacInnis, Sandy MacInnis and Jamie (Sarah) MacInnis. Brother-in-law to Lynn (Brian) Whitlock and Vance (Debbie) Cameron. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by father-in-law and mother-in-law Ivan and Isabelle Cameron.

Bobby was resting at the Davison Funeral Home in Kensington. Visitation and funeral took place last week. Interment in People’s Cemetery Summerside.

Our condolences to Bobby's family. Bobby went out of his way to make sure I was where I was suppposed to be when I was in Summerside for their yearly Horsemen's banquet. RIP
