Karen Louise Carter Passes

Standardbred industry participant Karen Louise Carter (nee Mills) of Grand Valley, Ont. passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 9 at the age of 76.

Beloved wife of Pastor Ken Carter. Dear mother of John (Susan), Brian and Sharon Carter. Cherished grandmother of Adam (Natasha), Brandon (Nicole), Brittany, Priscilla (2015) and Spenser (2014). Special great-grandmother of Julianne, Lauralee, Noah, Hailey and Everett. Predeceased by her brother Ron. Karen will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville, Ont., on Sunday, Nov. 14 from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, Nov. 15, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. (RSVP is required to attend funeral service).

Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Karen in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
