The I Love Canadian Harness Racing Fan Club is pleased to announce the winner of the Cavalia / Odysseo VIP Experience Contest.
Cavalia has returned to Toronto with their newest show, Odysseo, which continues through the end of May. In the true spirit of Cavalia, we asked FC members to submit a video or photo of a horse that does a trick. We received some interesting entries…horses that eat carrots affixed to a jolly ball, a cat walking on a horse’s back, a horse trying to push a wheel chair, and more…
We are pleased to announce that Marisa Parker of Burford, Ontario, and her ten-year-old daughter Ava will be enjoying a VIP Experience at an upcoming performance of Odysseo as the winners of our contest.
Their video was submitted by 'Red Pony' who wrote, "My name is Red Pony, I own a little girl named Ava who is hoping to be the best horse back rider in the world!!! Unfortunately for her I am a total pain in the rear end. She loves me and treats me really well but I have a real problem listening to her.
"I am thinking that if you send my girl to Cavalia, she might want me to do some extra tricks and start behaving myself. I really can't afford to have her always asking me to be a good horse, I just don't think I have it in me.”
Marisa was a former mutuel teller at Woodstock Raceway and visits Flamboro Downs on a regular basis. Ava is a passionate and active horse lover!
