He's the owner of one of the most recognizable voices in the standardbred racing industry, and after years of electrifying calls from the announcer's booth Roger Huston is coming up on an illustrious milestone.
"The good lord willin' and [if] the creek doesn’t rise, I will announce my 150,000th race on Thursday, December the 11th barring any cancellations leading up to that date," said Huston, who also stated that the number of races would be the most by a race announcer in any sport.
