Standardbred Canada, Ontario Horse Racing, Seelster Farm, Tara Hills Stud, Winbak Farm, Glengate Farm and Landmark 17 are pleased to announce the 2023 ‘Win a Share in a Racehorse’ contest! This unique contest offers participants a chance to become co-owners of multiple yearlings.
The contest will begin Oct. 1, and run until Oct. 16. Participants can enter the contest online at standardbredcanada.ca during this period.
During the week of Oct. 16, 10 entrants will be drawn at random as contest finalists. One race will be selected from the race card at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Saturday, Oct. 21.
Each of the 10 finalists will be paired with one of the starters from the selected race. The finalist paired with the winning horse will win the “Win A Share in a Racehorse” contest and the share in Landmark 17 Stable!
Entry Requirements:
To enter the contest, participants must meet the following criteria:
- Age: Participants must be 18 years or older.
- Eligibility: The contest is open to individuals in Canada.
- Entry Condition: One entry per person and those who have never owned a Standardbred horse before.
- Entry Attendance: The ten finalists will be contacted and asked to attend Woodbine Mohawk Park on Saturday, Oct. 21. Attendance and participation will be confirmed by a signed form. If any finalist is unable to attend this event, they may name a designated representative to attend on Oct. 21.
Prize:
- Grand Prize: Ownership share in Landmark 17 Stable Ownership Group, sponsored by Ontario Horse Racing, Seelster Farm, Tara Hills Stud, Winbak Farm, and Glengate Farm.
- The share in multiple yearlings is valued at $2,000 and will include at least one Ontario-sired yearling.
