A note received from Randy Waples...

"I'll miss that deep gravelly voice. A nicer person does not exist. We lost a great one. R.I.P. Dwane. Your friend, Randy."

I will always remember Dwane showing me how to tie my own shoe. He was a few years older than me but stayed there til I got it right. He will be sadly missed by a lot of people here on PEI and anybody that knew him. Bea and family, my heart goes out to you all.

My deepest condolences to Bea and the Graham family on the passing of Dwane. Dwane will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. Great horseman, great friend.

We knew Dwane from the backstretch for at least 20 years - mostly Kawartha and Mohawk. He was always cheerful, loved his work, and the first to congratulate you on a win.
On the backstretch he always to time to entertain and say hello to everyone's kids.
A great loss. Linda and Larry Todd
