Zeron Gets The Star Treatment
Scott Zeron has made a well-documented ascension into the Ontario driving ranks. In its continuing coverage of the local standardbred racing scene, the Fergus-Elora News Express has sat down with the aspiring
horseman.
In addition to mentioning his first win and other experiences, Zeron, 20, spoke specifically about some of the skills it takes to be successful in the bike.
“You need quick reflexes, and you have to be smart — able make quick decisions. You need a lot of that in a race. You also need good people to back you up," he said. "My dad definitely supports me and helps me a lot. And trainer Victor Puddy has stuck with me right from the beginning.”
