Golden Receiver In Big M Preferred
Golden Receiver and driver Andy Miller caught the ball and ran with it in the $27,500 Preferred Pace for four-year-olds on Saturday at the Meadowlands Racetrack

Golden Receiver stung Southwestern Dream (Yannick Gingras) to the quarter in :27 before letting him go and opting for a pocket trip through fractions of :55.1, and 1:23.2. Miller then angled out to kick home in :26.1 for a 1:49.4 victory with Camshaft Hanover (Jack Baggit, Jr) second and Southwestern Dream third.
Golden Receiver is owned by Stable 45, Richard Taylor, Stephen Springer and Nina Simmonds (all of New York). The four-year-old Village Jove gelding won for the sixth time in 15 outings this year. The 11-time winner has earned a total of $93,100 lifetime.
On the same card, Western Shore scorched the New Jersey oval with a 1:48.4 victory with Brett Miller in the bike for trainer Joe Poliseno.
Conditioner Mark Kesmodel had three winners on the night with Cole Diddy (1:50.3), Fifth Wave (1:51.2) and Kings Road (1:51.3).
