D Gs Camme Scores 30th Career Win
He just keeps on winning, but Sunday’s feature race at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park was a special one for D Gs Camme.
The Invitational star shot to the lead and never looked back en route to a 1:56.1 score and his 30th lifetime win. Co-owner Ron Matheson was in the bike for the milestone. Ron’s son, Jackie, is the trainer of D GS Camme, who notched his third win in a row and ninth of the season. The lifetime winner of $158,095 is also owned by Tom Clark, Quentin and Hal Bevan, of Charlottetown. The feature race triactor also involved Drivingthedragon (2) and Ramblinglily (3).
Adam Merner enjoyed a driving triple on the afternoon scoring top honours aboard Political Crisis, Likely To Win and All Turain.
Myles Heffernan and Mark Bradley had driving doubles while Jackie Matheson and Sifroi Melanson earned training doubles.
Wager was $36,435.
