Batavia Downs has announced that on Friday, June 27, stall applications will be available for the 2009 meet.

The 63rd season of live harness racing at America’s oldest lighted harness track takes place from Monday, July 27 through Saturday, December 5.

The purse structure is expected to be similar to last season. There will be 12 races nightly. This year's schedule includes two matinees, Sunday August 30 and Labour Day, September 7.

The Earl Trotting Series, named after the track's all-aged track record holder, will be held in August. Two late closing series for side-wheelers will be contested later in the season. The seventh annual Robert J. Kane Memorial Pace, the track's showcase event, is October 10.

Stall applications will be available here and must be returned by July 10.
