Trot Insider has learned that horseman Jack Durham of Omemee, Ont. passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Saturday, October 8 at the age of 71.

Beloved husband of Judith (nee-Spry). Much loved dad to Glen (Heather) and Jeffery (Michelle). Cherished papa to Matthew, Amanda, Ashley and Jarrett. Dear brother of Colleen Brown (Harry Jakeman), late Donna Reynolds (Doug), Bonnie Benzies (Dave) and Bob Durham.

Jack was so proud and enjoyed every moment spent with his grandchildren and his passion for the horse industry will always be remembered.

In keeping with Jack's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street.

Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society, Lung Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
