TP Lucy Equals Harrington Record

TP Lucy and Tony Morgan equaled the track record for three-year-old trotting fillies Sunday at Harrington Raceway in a $20,000 division of the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) stakes with a 1:58.1 performance

The Linbo-sired filly, owned by Mark Waterman, improved to six-for-seven lifetime as she surged by leader JAs Commando at the top of the stretch for an impressive score. TP Lucy was the fastest divisional winner of the night.

Nanticoke Racing and Mark King's Bristy Crinkley overcame an early break to prevail in her division in 2:02 for Les Givens. Joann Looney-King's Stashi and Jim King, Jr. were upset wire-to-wire winners in their division.

Meanwhile, on the colt’s side, Thomas Lail's Special Command, with Tony Morgan, and Vicki Givens and Doris Marine's Spent Force, who had Ross Wolfenden at the controls, were victorious.

The DSBF finals will be contested on Governor's Day during the Delaware State Fair July 30.
