After posting a five-win performance Monday evening at Mohawk Racetrack, driver Bob McClure was up to his old tricks on Tuesday night – this time at Flamboro Downs.

The white-hot reinsman manufactured a six-win performance during Tuesday’s 10-race card at Canada’s fastest half-mile oval.

McClure swept the first three dashes thanks to wins behind Deucette (1:57.2), Miss Brandi K (1:54.3) and Markathy (1:54).

HP Sissy’s 1:55.3 triumph in the $7,500 Fillies & Mares Preferred 3 gave him four wins with just half of the card completed. He tacked on wins with T R Lexus Cam (1:57) in Race 7 and Meadowview Matty (2:00) in Race 10 to complete his six-pack of scores.

The win total is now 363 and counting for McClure this season, and that’s a personal best for the young reinsman who is well on his way to celebrating a personal best for seasonal earnings. He recently surpassed the $2 million mark, which is just shy of last year’s record total of $2,103,931.

Tuesday’s feature race at Flamboro Downs went to Kyles Secret, who rallied off cover to win the $10,000 Fillies & Mares Preferred 2 for driver Robert Shepherd and trainer Gerard Demers.

Rubis Prescott and Request For Parole took turns on the lead through fractions of :27.3, :56.2 and 1:25.2, but Kyles Secret kicked off cover and used a :29-second kicker to win by a half-length margin over Rubis Prescott in 1:54.3. Boat House Row was third.

La Ferme Tag Inc of Papineauville, QC owns the five-year-old daughter of Secrets Nephew-Jates Kate. The win was her 11th of the season and the 26th of her career. She pushed her earnings over $125,000 with the victory.
