Green Acres Contested At Freehold
Freehold held its first leg of NJSS Green Acres for three year old filly trotters Friday afternoon, with six New Jersey bred filly trotters competing for a purse of $7,000 in the lone division.
Jazebel De Vie, who was sent off as the 4-5 favourite, wired the field in 1:58.3. She defeated Coco Truffles and Southwind Venus.
It was the third win for the Henrik Lundell-trained daughter of Muscles Yankee, who is a homebred owned by Joie De Vie Farms LLC of Jobstown, NJ.
The second leg of the NJSS Green Acres for three year old filly trotters
is scheduled for Friday September 19 at Freehold Raceway.
