Register For Chaplaincy Tourney
It’s time to dust off your golf clubs if they’ve stored away in your garage or stowed away in the trunk of your car.
The ninth annual Standardbred Racetrack Chaplaincy Golf Tournament in memory of Doug Hyatt is set for Wednesday, September 14, and it’s never too early to register for what is fun-filled afternoon on the links.
Hosted by Luc and Anita Ouellette, the tournament will kick off with lunch at 11 a.m. followed by a 1 p.m. shotgun start at Granite Ridge Golf Course in Milton, Ont. Following the best ball tournament, golfers will be treated to a delicious buffet dinner followed by a silent and live auction.
Spots are still available if you – or your foursome – would like to join in on what is always an entertaining and enjoyable day. Like they say, a bad day of golf always beats a good day at work.
Tickets for golf and dinner are available for $150, but if your clubs aren’t working you’re invited to join us for dinner with those tickets offered for $50. If you’d like to purchase tickets, sponsor a hole ($150) or a table ($250) for this year’s event, please contact Chaplain Ken Carter (519) 942-6641 or [email protected].
A number of industry participants have stepped up with some terrific prizes for this year’s silent and live auction. Thanks to those of you who have made those generous donations. If you have something you’d like to add to our prize tables, we thank you in advance.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Standardbred Racetrack Chaplaincy of Canada.
