Aberdeen Street Rezoning Rejected
On Monday, July 11, Fredericton City Council unanimously rejected a zoning amendment which could have led to Horse Racing New Brunswick setting up a restaurant/off-track wagering location on Aberdeen Street that would be licenced to serve alcohol.
News of the decision has come via an article by the CBC that explains that Horse Racing New Brunswick has not yet responded to the outcome of the vote.
The CBC piece features comments from local residents that were in opposition to HRNB’s plans.
