Grand Slam For Watts Was I Drinkn

The count is now four starts and four wins for pacing filly Watts Was I Drinkn, who had her picture taken again during Thursday’s card of racing at Rideau Carleton Raceway.

Watts Was I Drinkn, in rein to Jacques Beaudoin, sliced out fractions of :29, :59.2 and 1:29.1 with the three-year-old daughter of Yankee Cruiser-Up Front Fire before using a :29-second kicker to win by a neck over Mach An Angel in 1:58.1. Third prize was earned by Clodam Bayama.

Michel Allard trains the career winner of $8.950 his son, Rene Allard. The filly was a $4,000 purchase from the 2014 Atlantic Classic Yearling Sale.
