Goshen Sale Entries Coming Due
The Goshen Yearling Sale has announced a last call for entries. Entries will close on Monday, May 23.
The Goshen Yearling Sale was launched in 2015. More than 150 horses have already been consigned to this year’s sale, which will be held on Sunday, September 18 at the Mark Ford Training Center.
“With yearlings consigned by such major consignors as Hanover Shoe Farms, Blue Chip Farms, Cameo Hills Farm, Concord Stud and Winbak Farms, we already have a much stronger catalogue for this year’s sale,” said sale company president Bob Boni.
Boni, well known in harness racing from his many years as a yearling sale consultant and horse agent under the banner of Northwood Bloodstock, joined the Goshen Yearling Sale team earlier this year.
Last year, 113 yearlings were sold at the inaugural edition, which generated gross sales of $1.4 million. In addition to increasing the quality and number of yearlings offered at the sale, Boni has also been putting in place other enhancements for the sale, including upgrades to the sale website (goshenyearlingsale.com).
