World's Tallest Horse?

On Friday or Saturday of this week, Cheryl Davis will formally find out if her horse, Remington, is the world's tallest living horse.

According to a report on npr.org, Davis has said that the clydesdale measures 6 feet, 8 inches from hoof to shoulder — only a quarter of an inch or half an inch taller than the reigning record holder, a Belgian draft horse named Radar from Mount Pleasant, Texas.

At the formal measurement on Friday, Remington will be measured from hoof to withers (the highest part of the back, between the shoulder blades). But Davis says from hoof to head, Remington measures more than nine and a half feet.
