Emily Gaskin's 2016 Fantasy Stable
Who would harness racing's sharpest minds select in the 2016 Trot Magazine Fantasy Stable? Trot Insider will feature 'expert picks' in advance of the May 20 deadline.
Racing publicist and commentator for Hoosier Park, Emily Gaskin has offered her picks for the 2016 Fantasy Stable. Gaskin took local product Wiggle It Jiggleit in the star-studded Group B.
"A heavy-hitting group of horses in this category, I settled on Wiggle It Jiggleit for his seasonal earning potential," Gaskin told Trot Insider. "Last year, Wiggle It Jiggleit won 22 of 26 starts for earnings of over $2.2 million. His list of accolades not only included victories in the Meadowlands Pace, Indiana Sires Stakes and the Progress Pace but he also put together one of the most memorable wins in the Little Brown Jug I have ever had the privilege to witness.
"The four-year-old Indiana-sired gelding has already won four of five starts thus far this season and I suspect given his three-year-old schedule, he will be at all the big dances in 2016."
