Blueberry Will extended her winning streak to five on Monday evening at Woodbine Racetrack, and in doing so she gave trainer Murray Brethour a sweep of the Blossom Series divisions.

Blueberry Will, in rein to Sylvain Filion, was looped by Noone To Depend On at the quarter pole before moving around that foe when they entered the backstretch. Blueberry Will then chopped out middle fractions of :56.2 and 1:25.4 before scooting home in :29.2 to secure to neck decision over Noone To Depend On in 1:55.1. Mattjestic Tempo came on strong to finish third.

John Fleischman and Randy Hodgins share ownership on the daughter of Rocknroll Hanover-Credible Blu. The lion’s share of the loot lifted her bankroll to $47,550.

Earlier on the card, Windsun Glory won her division with the greatest of ease for driver Chris Christoforou. The homebred daughter of Mach Three-Windsun Princess got away fifth in the early going while Radar Trap and Boozer Bruiser battled to the quarter pole in :28.1. Radar Trap eventually cleared, only to be overtaken by Money Magic at the half in :57.3. Windsun Glory made a bold move in the backstretch and swept up to grab the lead at the three-quarter pole in 1:27.1. She then used a :29.2 kicker to win by 3-1/4 lengths over Radar Trap in 1:56.3. Money Magic took home the show dough.

Brethour shares ownership on the three-time winner with Windsun Farm Inc, Kevin McKinlay and Jim Fielding. The lightly-raced lass has stashed away more than $36,000 to date.

Monday's program also produced a massive payout for one lucky ticket holder in California. That lucky fan had the lone winning ticket on the Jackpot Hi 5 wager offered in Race 10.

The horseplayer made a $0.20 straight wager on the Jackpot Hi-5 and connected with the only winning ticket for a $134,624.99 (USD) return.

The Jackpot Hi-5 race was won by the 2-1 favourite Sir Machalot, but longshots were close behind. Comeonandgetsome, 13-1, finished second, while Machapelo, 88-1, finished third. Single White Sock, 6-1, and Sunny Beach Day, 5-2, rounded out the top five.

The Jackpot Hi-5 pool had been growing since mid-February after a horseplayer had won the Jackpot of $189,970 with a $252 wager.
