Cookie Fundraiser For ON Monte Racing
As its third consecutive season of wagering on trotters under saddle nears, Racing Under Saddle Ontario will be holding its popular cookie dough fundraiser, which will get underway on February 14.
RUS Ontario is a non-profit organization that relies on sponsorship and fundraising money to assist with advertising and promotional efforts throughout the racing season.
In-Dey-Go, from Canmore, Alberta, donates a percentage of its cookie dough sales to non-profit organizations. For $15, purchasers will receive 48 pre-portioned 1 0z. cookies that can be thawed and refrozen. Ten flavours are offered, with a gluten-free option coming in 2.7 Ib. tubes, yielding 45-50 cookies. All- natural dog cookie dough is also available.
Flavors include:
• Chocolate chunk
• Oatmeal coconut chocolate chunk
• Oatmeal raisin spice
• White chocolate macadamia nut
• Dark chocolate white chocolate chunk
• The Mother Lode (contains whole wheat flour, oats, pecans, sunflower seeds and raisins)
• Monster cookies (made with Smarties)
• Shortbread
• Ginger crinkle
• Sugar cookies
Gluten free is available in macaroon and chocolate macaroon flavours. Orders can be made from any RUS board member (listed below), as well as Western Fair Raceway and Flamboro Downs tackshops on race nights.
The fundraiser closing date will be March 1, with expected delivery date March 12.
