Donna McIntosh Passes
Trot Insider has learned Donna McIntosh passed away peacefully at the Franklin Gardens Nursing Home in Leamington, Ontario on February 7, 2016. She was 86.
Donna’s husband Bill pre-deceased her in 2006. Both Bill and Donna were great supporters of harness racing and owned and trained many horses over the years starting in the 1960’s.
Donna is survived by son Stu McIntosh (Paula), Scott McIntosh (Robyn) and daughter Kathy Authier (Brian). Six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren will miss their grandma, but be comforted by all the great memories she provided.
Visitation will take place at the Reid Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (519-326-2631) Sunday, February 14 from 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, February 15, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral service to celebrate Donna’s life at 11 a.m. Pastor Eric Skillings officiating. Private family interment at Erie Cemetery in Wheatley.
