Meadows Feature To Bestinthebusiness
Out at the three-eighths, Bestinthebusiness rolled relentlessly first over to capture Saturday’s $22,500 Winners Over $10,000 Life Pace at The Meadows.
Away fifth for Eric Goodell, Bestinthebusiness set sail after the leader, Capital Account, who enjoyed a relatively comfortable :56.2 opening half over a “good” surface. But he was no match for Bestinthebusiness, who dug deep in the stretch to down Capital Account by three-quarters of a length in 1:52. Beach Boy Brody rallied for show.
Paul Kennedy trains Bestinthebusiness, an eight-year-old Another Mile-Tendin To Business gelding who now boasts $318,344 in career earnings, for Brett Boyd Racing.
Aaron Merriman, Dave Palone and Goodell each piloted three winners on the 15-race card.
