Roger Hamm Passes
Trot Insider has learned that life-long horseman Roger Hamm of Dutton, Ont. passed away unexpectedly at L.H.S.C. University Hospital on Wednesday, Dec. 23 at the age of 75.
Roger was a regular catch driver through the 70’s and 80’s in the Southwestern Ontario area, once holding three track records at Dresden Raceway. He also campaigned standout trotter Armbro Agile for his two- and three-year-old stakes years.
Beloved husband of Lynda for 25 years. Dear father of Bill and Tom Hamm; step-father of Heather (Terry) Keep, Allison Green, and Michael (Carmen) Andrews. Proud grandfather of Darian and Jordan Hamm; Alexander and Mitchell Keep. Loving brother of Norma (Wayne) Summers, and Colleen Lucas. Roger will be forever remembered by his nieces and nephew.
Friends and family will be received at Arn Funeral Home, 193 Shackleton Street, Dutton, on Wednesday, Dec. 30 from 1 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 2 p.m.
