There were no winning tickets in Tuesday evening’s fourth race Pentafecta at Pompano Park, resulting in a healthy $6,004 carryover into Saturday (Dec. 19) night’s fourth race.--break-->

Pentafecta wagering is featured on the fourth race of each live racing program, offering a 20-cent minimum, where fans must select the top five finishers in order.

Last Tuesday did, however, produce one unique winning ticket in the Jackpot Hi-Five, even with the 7-5 favourite, Della Bea, victorious in the finale. One lucky fan took down a payday of $30,956.44 for the winning 20-cent combination. The Jackpot Hi-Five will start anew in Saturday night’s eighth race.

Live racing continues on a five-night per week schedule, with a first post of 7:30 p.m. every Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evening.
