Matinee Project Doles Out Awards
Sixteen-year-old driver Austin Sorrie was awarded Driver of the Year honours on Wednesday, December 9 at Charlottetown Driving Park, as the Matinee Racetrack Development Project’s annual banquet and awards dinner took place at the Red Shores facility.
As a report by The Guardian explains, Sorrie had captured the program’s championship final with Lisfinny earlier in the season at the Summerside Raceway, and also won the ‘B’ division with Freddy My Boy. To read The Guardian note in tis entirety, click here.
