Business Continues At White Birch Farm

White Birch Farm and its training centre will continue 'business as usual,' despite the sad news of the recent death of farm owner and general manager Michael Parisi.

White Birch Farm Inc. announced to industry participants -- especially those who currently utilize the training centre -- that the farm will continue under current management and staff, and that business operations will continue as before.

The farm plans to maintain its business of breeding and selling many of the sport’s finest yearlings, and operating the training centre that is considered one of the industry’s premier facilities.

With 800 acres in Allentown, NJ, White Birch maintains a broodmare band of more than 100 head. In 2012 and 2013, it was named harness racing’s 'Breeder of the Year,' having bred the champions Bee A Magician and Captaintreacherous.

The training centre, with its five-eighths-mile stonedust track, half-mile sand jogging track and seven-eighths-mile straightaway, consists of 11 barns that presently house approximately 300 horses.

Arrangements for Mr. Parisi’s funeral are still pending, and will be made available in the near future.
