Super Soph Scores In Saratoga Open
Super Soph scored a front-running win in the Fillies and Mares Open on Friday night at Saratoga Casino and Raceway.

Driven by Frank Coppola Jr., the five-year-old daughter of Admirals Galley paced away from pocket-sitting Its A Miracle (Bruce Aldrich Jr.) to score in a speedy 1:53. Its A Miracle was the runner-up in the Open for distaffers while Spreester (Jim Devaux) closed for third.
For Super Soph, who paid $5.80 to win, it was her third victory of the season in the local Fillies and Mares Open. The exacta, comprised of the 9-5 co-favourites, returned $17.80 while the triple paid $70.50.
