Five More For Forward
Driver Brad Forward kicked off his Sunday evening at Windsor Raceway on a winning note, and the trips to
victory lane just kept on coming for Canada’s representative for this year’s World Driving Championship.
Forward, who is quickly closing in on $900,000 in earnings this season, nabbed five wins on the 13-race program including a score in the opener with Southern Rhett (1:57.1).
He returned to get his picture taken in race three thanks to a determined effort from Hurricane Hanna (1:57.1). Regil King (1:55.4) completed Forward’s hat trick after eking out a neck decision in the fifth race. Teachable Moment (1:54.3) romped to a four-length tally in the tenth race, and he was back one race later with Critic Vacation (1:58.4), who completed the five-win performance.
The Newfoundland native has already racked up 166 wins this season. To date, he has registered 3,289 wins while racking up purse earnings in excess of $19.5 million.
