Harrington Open To Special T Rocks
John Cancelliere's Special T Rocks notched his sixth win of the year Monday at Harrington Raceway with a 1:51.3 victory in the featured $16,000 Open Handicap for pacers.
The seven-year-old Rocknroll Hanover gelding led the field through fractions of :27.3, :55.4 and 1:23.4 before using a :27.4 kicker to win by 2-1/2 lengths over Leyden in 1:51.3. Mojo Terror rounded out the top three finishers.
Allan Davis mapped out the winning trip for Special T Rocks, who recorded his 32nd career win. Trained by Joe Hundertpfund, Special T Rocks boosted his lifetime earnings to more than $474,000. It was the second win of three wins on the program for driver Davis.
Earlier on the program, Kevin Switzer's Letsmakeawish ($3.20, Montrell Teague) won his fourth consecutive race in 1:52.2. Trained by his owner, Letsmakeawish is a three-year-old son of Western Terror.
