Blow To NJ Sports Wagering Push
The push to add legalized sports wagering to the betting menu at New Jersey racetracks and casinos suffered another blow on Tuesday (August 25) by a federal appellate panel.
An article on the situation by John Brennan for The Bergen Record explains that the appellate panel upheld the federal ban on legalized sports wagering in the state.
The three member panel ultimately upheld the ban by a vote of 2-1.
Brennan has reported that the State of New Jersey is expected to appeal the decision to the to the entire Third Circuit judiciary.
