High Five For Coming Late
Coming Late kept the goodtimes rolling on Saturday night when she scored her fifth straight win for trainer Wayne Preszcator in the third race at Georgian Downs
.
With Aaron Byron at the lines, the three-year-old Grinfromeartoear filly got away second from the inside post behind Kesons Avaia (Mike Langdon). As the field entered the first turn Coming Late was quick to take the top spot and she lead the field from there through panels of :28.1, :57.2 and 1:25.3 without facing any serious challenges. The 3-5 favourite then pulled away by six lengths to score in 1:53.4.
Kesons Avaia finished second and Justwitchway (Garrett Whelan) was third.
In six starts this year, Coming Late has recorded five wins and one second earning nearly $30,000. Her sixth lifetime win pushed her bankroll to $38,125 for Bulletproof Enterprises, of Boca Raton, Florida.
