Perfect Panderosa Passes
Trot Insider has learned that sub-1:50 performer and stakes winner Perfect Panderosa has passed away at the age of 14.
A son of The Panderosa, Perfect Panderosa amassed an admirable record of 21-13-20 from 115 lifetime starts while banking $248,723 and taking a mark of 1:49.4 at The Meadowlands.
He was owned by Helen Joy Velenosi since 2009 and retired from the racetrack in 2011.
Upon retirement, Perfect Panderosa was a great Ambassador for the Standardbred breed and the Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society, and showed for many years teaching the young girls the ins and outs of halter and showmanship. He was shown by young horse enthusiasts Emma Christoforou (pictured at right) and Samantha McEneny.
He will be missed in the show ring and by all those that knew him.
Please join Standardbred Canada in offering condolences to the connections of Perfect Panderosa.
