Clark Trainees Triple Up At Fraser
Keith Clark has enjoyed his fair share of training triples at Northlands Park but on Friday evening the Alberta horseman, who has moved his stable to British Columbia for the time being, dominated Fraser Downs' 13-race program
.
Clark started the evening off with a win in the first race aboard Bestnotlie Hanover, who converted a pocket trip into a career-best 1:56.2 triumph. During her sophomore debut in Race 3, Laughs Last scored her first career win in 1:58.3 in wire-to-wire fashion. Clark returned to the winner’s circle later in Race 7 aboard the pocket-sitting Prime Time Bliss, who prevailed for the first time this year in 1:55.1.
To top off an already productive evening, Clark teamed up with trainer Wayne Isbister to win the 11th race with Red Star Samper in 1:54.2.
Clark has sent 55 winners postward this season earning in excess of $319,000. His training win total places him sixth in the Canadian standings this year. With 3,290 victories under his belt, Clark has earned over $20.1 million in his career. On the driving side, Clark has recorded 67 of his 5,594 wins in 2009.
