After failing to win a race in her first four starts of the 2009 season, Paczki has followed up with an impressive win streak at Flamboro Downs for members of the McNeill clan

.

In fact, the three-year-old daughter of Astreos-Armbro Vanilla celebrated her fifth consecutive win thanks to a 1:59.2 score at Canada’s fastest half-miler on Wednesday for the duo of trainer Rick McNeill and driver Jody Jamieson.

Jamieson got away second with Paczki, before brushing to the top shortly after Dusty Lane Tate rolled the field to the quarter pole in :28.4. Once in command, Paczki threw down remaining splits of :58.3 and 1:29.2 before finishing off her foes with a :30-second final quarter.

Rick holds the papers on the photogenic filly with partners Duncan, Stephanie and Broder McNeill. The pacer, who is named after a Polish pastry, has put together a 5-1-2 record in her first nine starts of this year’s campaign.
