Eight Is Great For Napolitano
Harrah's Philadelphia’s leading driver, George Napolitano Jr., had a tremendous day at the office on Monday (May 25), as he steered no less than eight winners to victory during the track’s 14-dash card.
Napolitano started off with a bang as he drove five-year-old gelding Rude Boy ($5.60, 1:51.1) to victory. The son of Armbro Deuce brushed at the quarter and went on to an easy win, stopping the clock in a lifetime's best 1:51.1.
Other winners included Silvermass Volo ($2.40, 1:58.4), Cereal Lover ($5.20, 1:53.4), Gymokee Jerry ($4.40, 1:53.1), JS McFlash ($3.00, 1:55.1), All Week ($8.60, 1:53.1), Meshwhogonna ($3.60, 1:57.2) and Handsome Henry K ($2.60, 1:53.3).
Napolitano went on to sweep the early Pick 3. He also won three of four races in the Pick 4.
Napolitano, the track’s defending driving champion, is once again in first place in the local driving standings, with Corey Callahan currently second.
