For the third straight night no handicapper was able to correctly select the winners of races five through nine, thus a carryover of $56,739.84 will be added to Wednesday’s Pick-5 pool.

Bill Mudro, Balmoral Park’s mutuel manager, is estimating that the jackpot for Wednesday night could reach a whopping $225,000 which would be a new record at the Crete, IL plant.

Post time for the opener on Wednesday night is 7:20 p.m. The Pick-5 begins in race five, and is expected to kick off at approximately 8:35 p.m.
